Following his success in Florence and Ravenna under the baton of Riccardo Muti, Luca Salsi will be once more Macbeth in Verdi’s namesake opera for the opening of the Festival Verdi 2018.
The opera – on stage at the Teatro Regio di Parma on September 27, October 5, 11 and 18 – will be played in the 1847 version (in the critical edition by David Lawton).
