Description

The Chamber Music International Festival “ClassicheFORME”, organized by the Associazione “Opera Prima”, comes from the desire of the young Italian pianist Beatrice Rana to create a musical center of attraction in her own area – the Salento, in Apulia – where renowned national and international concert artists are invited to perform, and where interactive musical experiences are shared; thus presenting “chamber music” in a dynamic, modern, and attractive way, in line with our times. In 2017 the Festival was granted the Medal of the President of the Italian Republic for its high value towards music, for the development of young talents, and for the attention to its territory. The Festival’s Artistic Director and Founder, Beatrice Rana, was nominated Knight of the Republic “motu proprio” by President Sergio Mattarella in December of 2016. Now at its third edition, running in Lecce from 5 to 7 July, 2019, every year the ClassicheFORME Festival brings music to the Salento area, in venues that are filled with history and culture, aiming to share and spread their beauty. All concerts of the Festival are aired on Radio3 Rai on delay.
