On December 10, with reruns until December 22, Daniele Gatti will conduct Verdi’s Les vêpres siciliennes for the season opening of the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma.
The show will be directed by Valentina Carrasco, the scenes will be by Richard Peduzzi, the lights by Peter van Praet and the costumes by Luis Carvalho. The cast includes Roberto Frontali as Guy de Montfort, Dario Russo as Le sire de Béthune and Roberta Mantegna as Hélène, Andrii Ganchuk (Comte de Vaudemont), Irida Dragoti (Ninetta), John Osborn (Henri), Michele Pertusi (Jean Procida), Francesco Pittari (Danieli), Saverio Fiore (Thibault) and Alessio Verna (Robert).
